Chapter 86: Pierce sends General Sumner to disband the Free State legislature. 

With the Toombs’ bill stalled, Pierce sends General “Bull” Sumner along with five cavalry and two artillery units to break up the Free Stater’s “Grand Mass Convention” in Topeka on the 4th of July. Under a threat of force, the delegates disperse.
