Shown here is the broad main street in Mulliken, Michingan taken in the late 1890’s. Residents are evident in front of retail outlets on both sides of the thoroughfare, along with many horses and carriages. Rapid growth follows after a man named Mullikin routes the Detroit, Lansing & Northern Railroad into the town. Henceforth the town is christened after him.
